DOB: 31/05/2014 (Approx). Handsome, slinky black panther Magnus was rescued from the pound on 31 May 2017 along with his partner Missy and their son Milo. As Milo was a young kitten it wasn’t long before he found a new home.

To start with Magnus and Missy were very shy and they spent the first couple of months sitting on a bed in a room by themselves. There were other foster cats in the house so they were a bit wary of them.

When an injured cat needed the room they were in to recuperate, Magnus and Missy didn’t like having their space invaded so they finally ventured out to spend time in the lounge room. Eventually Magnus started opening up and showing the occasional bit of love to his carer – but he was still a bit stand offish.

Fast forward to April 2018 and Magnus has become much more interactive. His carer has a few less cats and that has changed the dynamics of the household. Magnus is rubbing up against his carer much more and spending more time around her. He also likes to roll around in her damp towel when she gets out of the shower!

Magnus is a quiet boy with a tiny meow. He doesn’t mind younger cats once he gets to know them. He has his moments with certain adult male cats (other fosters in the same house) but is OK with others. Although he is only a wanna-be alpha-male he might be happiest as an only cat or with a younger cat/unaggressive female.

Magnus is litter trained, desexed, microchipped and vaccinated.
